We wanted to wish all our fabulous supporters a Merry Christmas and all the very best for 2016-we hope you continue to travel with us on our journey to conserve and reuse the former library building.

We also wanted to share a little December round up with you !

We had a brilliant time at our annual Santa Dash around Tuebrook-all the staff, volunteers children and their parents were sponsored to dress up and 'dash' around our community-we always have a brilliant time and this year was no exception!  We spent time at the Town Hall as one of the Lord Mayor's charities and decorated their tree with charity stars-thank you to everyone who bought one.
We had a very special guest visit us during our Christmas party...........Santa!  Santa gave out gifts to all our children (with thanks to Salt House Tapas for their generous donation) and we ate party food and danced the day away!  We enjoyed a trip to our local care home where we spent time with residents and sung carols and we also performed a carol concert for parents and guests at Lister Steps.
We are saying farewell to team members Becky and Linda who are both heading off to start new adventures-we wish them well and look forward to them keeping in touch.

We have welcomed some fabulous new staff to the team recently.......say hello to Kathryn, Anita and Jenny plus our new volunteers and trainees.....Vanitha, Chloe, Ellie and Helen.

We continue to work hard to develop plans to conserve the former Lister Drive Library and create a community hub.  We have initial floor plans which are within budget and will enable us to offer a wide range of services and activities-we can't wait to share them with you.  We hope you can join us at our upcoming Scouse Supper event.  It'll be a brilliant evening filled with curiosities, laughter and scouse!  Tickets are on sale now for £5 and can be purchased from Lister Steps and by e-mailing supper@listerstepshub.co.uk -all money raised will go towards the Carnegie Community Hub project.  We are delighted that our Lord Mayor Tony Conception and his wife will be attending to show their support.

Once again, thank you for your continued support and Merry Christmas!
