The emergency holding works are almost at an end. The building will now enter a period of drying out, ventilating and awaiting the next stage of works. The building will be assessed regularly to identify potential leaks, the return of rot and the success of the work carried out. We have now entered the 'design stage' where we will appoint our Design Team (including an Architect) and develop the physical plans for the building. We hope you enjoy the photographs-we will start to share 'then and now' images of the building from next week to show you just how much has been achieved in such a short amount of time and with a limited budget. Ronnie Hughes from 'A Sense of Place' visited us last week and wrote a fantastic blog post on the project: https://asenseofplaceblog.wordpress.com/2015/01/14/lister-steps-walking-into-the-future-part-one/ https://asenseofplaceblog.wordpress.com/2015/01/15/lister-steps-walking-into-the-future-part-two/ As a result of Ronnie's blog the Liverpool Echo picked up the story and spoke to our Heritage Development Officer Kerry for an update.
